Episode Notes

Take it from someone who utterly transformed his life and avoided a fate of poverty and trauma. Get inspired by his incredible story and start setting your own goals the right way. Avoid the mistakes that most people make, so that you can actually achieve your goals.

Nelson was the child of a 15-year-old mother after she said a Pennsylvania police officer pulled her over and raped her. Tressler’s grandfather found and fatally shot the officer, leading to his grandfather serving life behind bars. Nelson was the oldest of five children, raised in poverty by an alcoholic and abusive stepfather who was in and out of jail. His first major goal was being the first person in his extended family to receive a college degree, which he fulfilled upon leaving the US Air Force. Flash forward to today, he is married to his best friend and wife of almost 25 years, was a top producer for a top five commercial real estate firm, and has started over 10 businesses. He is the author of The Unlucky Sperm Club: You are Not a Victim of Your Circumstances but a Product of Your Choices.
